Movie Magic: Seamless Movie Ticketing & Recommendations

The goal of Movie Magic was to create an intuitive app that simplifies movie ticket purchases, provides personalized recommendations, and showcases diverse movie options, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable movie-going experience for users.


User Research Summary
Surveys and interviews revealed that moviegoers value convenience, affordability, and diverse movie options. Frustrations included high ticket costs and limited movie diversity. These insights led to Movie Magic’s design, offering a convenient, affordable, and personalized experience with various ticket options and diverse movie highlights.
Ideation Process
We brainstormed solutions to simplify ticket purchasing, offer personalized recommendations, and highlight diverse movies, refining concepts through user feedback and iterative design.

Digital Wireframes
Created initial wireframes to map user flows, focusing on ease of navigation and personalized movie recommendations. Refined designs based on user testing and feedback.

Low-Fidelity Prototype
Developed a low-fidelity prototype totest key features and user flows. Gathered user feedback to identify and address usability issues early in the design process.

What I Learned
During the development of the Movie Magic app, the UX/UI design team likely learned a great deal about user-centered design and iteration. By conducting extensive user research and testing, the team was able to identify user needs.
