Heart of Summer
The Project
Produced the behind-the-scenes documentary film for Heart of Summer, a feature production by Steadyimage Multimedia Production Company — capturing the creative process, on-set environment, and the personalities behind the film from pre-production through final delivery.
The Problem
A behind-the-scenes production has to live in two worlds at once — it needs to document authentically without disrupting the primary shoot, and it needs to be compelling enough to stand on its own as a piece of content. The challenge was capturing the energy and craft of the Heart of Summer production without getting in the way of it.
The Solution
Embedded with the Steadyimage team throughout the production, working with a minimal footprint to capture candid moments, director and cast interviews, and the visual texture of the set. Directed the editorial arc in post to tell the story of the film's making — balancing fly-on-the-wall authenticity with a structured, watchable narrative from first frame to final cut.
